One word, outstanding!. Village Of The Damned has a reputation of one of the best movies of it's times. I'm the greatest fan of John Carpenter and Village Of The Damned for me is his best movie. I loved whole cast of Village Of The Damned, even the enemies of the main character. I never liked Thriller titles so it's fair to say i never thought I'd love Village Of The Damned.
