The Player
Brilliant movie from 1992 year, a classic Comedy movie. Wonderful inspiration to young actors and directors. I still remember the first time I saw The Player. I expected average crap movie at most, I received amazing movie. I am a huge fan of Robert Altman and this movie was his best work of last years. Skills of actors are just unimaginable, especially Greta Scacchi's play. When a director makes movie and all of their scenes so influential that you don't want to pick your favorites, you know it is just a good, quality film. I'm sure that The Player will continue to live for next 100 years. Enjoy watching.
Storyline of The Player
Griffin Mill, a studio script screener gets on the bad side of a writer by rejecting his pitch. The writer is sending him threatening postcards. Drawn into a web of blackmail and murder, Griffin must evade the police investigation that he caused. But he must also watch his back, because in Hollywood, there';;s always another person to take your place.
