One of the best movies made in 1999 year. A movie with no weak moments. It carries meaningful lesson. I saw this movie many times, really many times. The direction is really abstract. Majestic pictures, great tempo and scenes. All actors played their roles best they could. I liked The Other Sister from the first sight. In conclusion The Other Sister is just absolutely awesome. Have a great time watching it.

Though mentally challenged Carla has many challenges, her biggest is to prove her independence to a more-than-slightly over protective mother to attend college and pursue a romance with Danny, a young man with a similar disability.
